FAQ

Questions buyers usually ask first.

Use this page as the public support baseline for evaluation, procurement and first rollout conversations.

What is Linkfield?

Linkfield is a mobile-first field operations platform. It centralizes documents, incidents, maintenance, training, tasks, messages, photos, products, announcements and admin controls.

Which industries and roles is it for?

It fits construction, facilities, workshops, industrial operations, multi-site services and QHSE teams. Typical users include technicians, operators, subcontractors, managers, administrators and owners.

Can Linkfield be managed cloud or self-hosted?

Yes. Managed cloud is the fastest route. A self-hosted VPS, Docker and Traefik deployment can be reviewed for customers with stricter hosting or sovereignty requirements.

Where is data stored?

Data region is confirmed before production. EU hosting is recommended for GDPR customers. Structured data sits in PostgreSQL, files sit in MinIO or compatible object storage.

Can one account belong to several workspaces?

Yes. Workspace isolation lets one person access several sites or clients while each workspace keeps its own data and permissions.

What works without a connection?

Key documents can be saved for offline access. Actions that need the server synchronize when a connection returns. The exact offline scope should be confirmed in the pilot.

Which integrations are available?

The roadmap covers Notion, n8n, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, Teams, Microsoft 365 flows, exports and future SSO. See the integrations page for details.

Is Linkfield a mobile app?

Linkfield is a web app built for mobile-first use and PWA installation. A native mobile app can be considered if customer usage proves the need.

What support and SLA are available?

Starter includes email support. Team and Business add implementation and priority support. Enterprise can define a contracted SLA.

Can we migrate from Excel, SharePoint or Notion?

Yes. The recommended path is to pick one module family, clean the source data, import only what is useful and keep legacy tools available during the pilot.

How do pricing, trial and cancellation work?

Pricing is listed on the pricing page. Guided pilots are available. Monthly cancellation and refund rules should be confirmed in the commercial agreement.

Where can I read about security?

The security page covers authentication, workspace isolation, storage, hosting, backups, audit logs, subprocessors, GDPR and responsible disclosure.
